Video has become an indispensable part of business. From corporate presentations to online learning, and from product sizzles to subscription streaming services, video defines a company and its culture. Successful post-production ensures that video content is not only great looking, but more importantly, that it achieves an organization’s goals, whether they are awareness and engagement, or increased revenue through sales and retention. And in today’s hyper-competitive environment, post constantly needs to find ways to save time and money through efficient workflows.

Across my career, from small start-ups to some of the most recognized brands in the world, I’ve played a leadership role in achieving these results. At Beachbody, a fitness, nutrition and wellness company, I restructured the post-production team, rebuilt the workflow, integrated new product management tools and designed a system that could scale. This was critically important when the Covid lockdown led to an explosion in use of the company’s streaming classes. Production quickly ramped up and our post team doubled in size. We continued to deliver new projects on schedule and under budget, while simultaneously adopting new tools, including cloud-based technologies, to enable a 100% remote workforce.

Previous jobs laid the foundation for my success at Beachbody. At Twistbox Entertainment, a mobile solutions start-up, I renegotiated license deals and revamped the post workflow to reduce cost of goods by 50% while generating a 30% increase in revenue. For Fox Mobile Group, I licensed hundreds of hours of programming from top-tier channels – many of them direct competitors – for a groundbreaking early-generation video streaming service, Bitbop; while also expanding the post-production pipeline for its sister service, Jamba. And as VP, On-Air Promotions and later Digital Convergence at Playboy TV, I played a key leadership role in the expansion of the service from a small cable channel to a revenue powerhouse in digital distribution.

The common themes in all my work have been building creative teams, harnessing the right technology, facilitating collaboration and emphasizing strong communication to translate an organization’s goals into tangible products. The results have been compelling, best-in-class premium content that exceeds expectations time and time again.
